In the UK at least, home schooling is popular (whereas in some Western countries it is illegal), and home study in students enrolling on further education courses is growing also alongside the growth of online education. In considering the main question, why do parents pull their children out and place them in private schools? From what I have seen in 40 years of teaching in private schools, the number one factor seems to be that teachers are mistreating their child.

It equates school-to-work with school-for-work–that is, education and training programs in which preparation for work is explicitly a major purpose.

“Ismellarat — An Anti-Federalist Interpretation of American History”, is a DVD documentary on the U.S. Constitution. It features the work of the National Reform Association (the other NRA). The NRA was constituted during the Civil War to divert the wrath of God with a Christian Amendment to the Constitution’s Preamble. The intent was to formally acknowledge Christ and His law as Lord of the nation.

Gary DeMar, author of “America’s Heritage”, is back with another attempt to link Christianity and the Constitution. The book relies heavily on circumstantial evidence that fails to prove the case. It is hard to take seriously the two internal proofs offered for one the words “year of our Lord” attached to the date.
